I believe that choosing a photographer is about more than just hiring someone with a camera to take a picture. Your photographer should be someone who gets to know you, someone who eases the stress of your session, and, hopefully, someone who eventually becomes a friend. We will work together every step of the way from choosing the perfect location + wardrobe selection, to vendor referrals + coordination, to being your personal cheerleader who celebrates your life's moments.

I wholeheartedly believe that your images... your life's most special moments....deserve to be documented for you and your loved ones to cherish for years to come. While I deliver my images in digital format, I believe in printing your images so much that each of my Collections include a print credit. The one image format that has stood the test of time is real, tangible photographs. Your story deserves to be preserved in quality, archival products.
Life gets busy and we can always find the excuse as to why we don't have time to slow time or make time for photos. We all come up with the excuses of when it would be better timing or when we'd look better or {insert today's excuse}. The reality is that life is short and these moments are fleeting. One day we will all look back and wish we had just taken the photos.
Who you choose to work with matters. That is typical in most areas of life and is important even more so when capturing your life's moments. You want to be comfortable with someone and leave a session feeling like you've gained a new friend. I photograph the majority of my clients one to two times per year, which means I have the honor of knowing them, watching their children grow, being involved in difficult moments in life of losing a loved one or battling cancer. Your photographer is more than someone holding a camera - I am witnessing and documenting your story.
While I am always going to do my best to get "the shot", my focus for your session is to capture joyful & genuine moments. I want to capture the real you! That is where the real magic happens. That is where you really get to see the essence of a person. Don't worry though, I will pose you in your session so that you feel more comfortable and no one is worrying want to do with their hands. Your session will be filled with joy, laughter, and memories will be made.

Once we've connected and discussed your vision, I'll send over a customized proposal for you to review + sign. Once you sign the contract and submit your retainer, your session if officially booked! You are able to select your collection choice at this time or after your session.
Shortly after, I'll send over my Client Guide on how to get the most out of your session, including wardrobe inspiration + helpful hints. If you're unsure of what location you want to use, don't worry - I will send your my Locations Guide, too!

My goal is to make sure you have the most fun and stress free day possible - whether it is a family session or a sailboat proposal - I will be here for your throughout the entire process. We will work together to cultivate a session just for you...from location, wardrobe selections + more.

This is my favorite part! This is where all of our planning comes together + we get to capture your story! Today is about YOU. Today is about making memories, laughing, capturing genuine + authentic moments. While my goal is to capture authentic moments, don't worry - I will also guide you into "posed-unposed" positions to capture the images we all want to hang on our walls.

Investing in heirloom products is the last and maybe even the most important step during your photography experience! Whether you planned a beautiful engagement session, a photoshoot for your fluffy pup, a newborn session, or your yearly family photoshoot to document all your loved ones, now is the time to get your images off of your computer screen and into your home.
Once I've perfectly curated your session's photos, I will deliver them via an online gallery straight to your email. Take your time reflecting on your day and your story! You will be able to choose your investments collection from your gallery, if you have not already. .
